Our History

In 2018, we set out to solve the problem of paper in food safety and QA.

  • 2018

    Provision was founded in Copenhagen with the mentorship of Maersk, the world’s largest food shipping company.

  • 2019

    Our team built the back end of our software, a flexible system capable of capturing and reporting data for any commodity and any food safety scheme.

  • 2020

    We closed our first major investment round, created the front-end UI/UX design system for intuitive use, and scaled Provision across Canada.

  • 2021

    We tripled in size, closed our second major investment, and landed our first major clients and partners outside of North America.
